Technical Description
T-CD adsorbent is a smooth spherical adsorbent that exhibits superior adsorption performance towards a variety of polar organic impurities, such as: oxygen-containing compounds like alcohols, aldehydes, ketones, ethers, peroxides, and glycols; mercaptans; and nitrogen-containing compounds (ammonia, amines, nitriles). This adsorbent features a hierarchical pore structure, which ensures high adsorption capacity while accelerating adsorption and desorption rates and reducing mass transfer resistance. Its surface has low activity, resulting in low heat effects during adsorption.
Application Areas
It is used for the removal of trace alcohols from feedstocks in the polyolefin industry.
